Standardized Testing: Any of a number of national academic exams offered by accredited educational organizations (such as the College Board), which are used to determine academic preparation for college and/or scholarships and academic awards. Including:
- PSAT-Preliminary SAT
- SAT-Scholastic Aptitude Test
- ACT-ACT Assessment Test
- NMSQT-National Merit Scholar Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT)
- Advanced Placement (AP) Tests - A series of exams given to ascertain academic proficiency in a particular area of study. AP tests allow students to earn college credit without attending a semester-long class.
